Guided by experienced florist Joanna, you will learn how to create an organic wreath base with vines from your garden. She’ll show you how to incorporate seasonal plants such as primulas, daffodils and hyacinth into your wreath, giving you tips on how to prepare them so they last longer.

Hello! I'm Joanna!

I have always been a lover of art and all things creative, but like so many other people, I was told that art wasn’t a “proper” subject to study after high school. So, while the days were reserved for science, the evening was reserved for art. 

With the encouragement of an amazing teacher, I was able to put a basic portfolio together that won me a place on a foundation art course, and I had the most fantastic year exploring fine art painting, ceramics, textile design, fashion, photography and more. I started as the student with the most to learn and left with a distinction. 

For years, I channelled my creativity into the world of textiles, but when it came time for a change, I made the jump to floristry and I’ve never looked back! 17 years later, I’ve had the joy of creating amazing floral installations for hundreds of couples, and now I have the opportunity to pass my knowledge and love of floristry and the natural world onto people like you!
