Spring Wreath Making Workshop

Saturday 21st March, 10pm - 12pm

Seasonal wreaths are a regular request as they bring joy to your front door all year round. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create a beautiful organic vine wreath base, which we will decorate with natural moss, bulbs and pretty spring flowers.

We’ll also discuss how to use the same technique for summer and autumnal door designs, giving you the tools to get creative all year round.

Spring Floristry Workshops

Saturday 21st March 2026

Cathedral Workshop, Ripon

Join me for my Spring Wreath Making Workshop in the morning, Spring Bouquet Workshop in the afternoon, or come along for both workshops and enjoy a full day of creativity.

All materials and tools are provided, just bring yourself, an extra layer of clothing (it may be spring out, but it’s still on the cool-side in the studio) and an apron.

Classes take place at Joanna’s private studio in Ripon, with plenty of free parking available on site, and there will be tea and coffee provided to enjoy on the day.

Please be aware, as we will be using sharp scissors and knives during these workshops, we cannot offer spaces for children under 12 in the interest of safety.

If you have a group of 6 or more friends, I’m happy to discuss booking a private workshop on a date and time to suit you. This can be held in our studio space in Ripon or at your home if you have a space where we can get creatively messy.

Hello! I'm Joanna!

I have always been a lover of art and all things creative, but like so many other people, I was told that art wasn’t a “proper” subject to study after high school. So, while the days were reserved for science, the evening was reserved for art.

With the encouragement of an amazing teacher, I was able to put a basic portfolio together that won me a place on a foundation art course, and I had the most fantastic year exploring fine art painting, ceramics, textile design, fashion, photography and more. I started as the student with the most to learn and left with a distinction.

For years, I channelled my creativity into the world of textiles, but when it came time for a change, I made the jump to floristry and I’ve never looked back! 17 years later, I’ve had the joy of creating amazing floral installations for hundreds of couples, and now I have the opportunity to pass my knowledge and love of floristry and the natural world onto people like you!
